Elscint Automation has developed a special Vibratory Parts Feeder where cylindrical parts having diameter more than length can be fed axially or lengthwise. The parts which do not come Axially have to be removed and this is what most of the vibratory bowl feeder manufacturers find difficult. However, the special bowl developed by Elscint takes care of removal of non-axial parts and only axial parts are taken forward. Even components which are complete flat like those having diameter 30 x 1 mm thickness too can be fed axially. This is particularly important for feeding to centreless grinding machines for outer diameter grinding. The speeds or the feed rates depend upon the sizes of the components but speeds of upto 300 to 400 pieces per minute / 4 to 5 meters per minute are possible. Another beauty of this is that the bowl is made in such a way that components of various sizes, say from 2 mm x 2 mm to even upto 40 mm x 40 mm can be fed in the same bowl with the least amount of changeover tooling. Elscint can also provide the changeover tooling necessary for more sizes subsequently.

Elscint has developed special Vibratory Bowl Feeders for feeding of various components, which go into the manufacture of disposable syringes. The whole system consists of 14 vibratory parts feeders and 10 linear or inline rail feeders. All the components going into the making of disposable syringes are of Plastic and being light weight, a very complicated orientation is required. Depending upon the size of the components, different Elscint vibratory part feeder models, namely, Model 100, Model 160, Model 250, Model 400 and Model 630 are used. This being a medical requirement, all the bowls are made of stianless steel with complete argon welding and bead blast finish to comply with the stringent cleanroom requirements of the pharmaceutical industry. The complete set includes tables, hoppers, linear track, gravity chutes, auto-switch off controllers, level controllers and pneumatic escapements, helping make the assembly process very easy for the customer.

Elscint has developed a unique high speed vibratory bowl feeder for feeding of nails in a head up position. Various sizes of nails right from 15 mm length to 200 mm length can be fed through the same vibratory feeder without any changeover tooling. This makes this vibratory bowl feeder very convenient to use for end users. The rate at which the nails are fed ranges upto 1500 pieces per minute depending upon the length of the nails. Either of Model 400 or Model 630 is used for this purpose. A wide range of nails are also possible to be fed in the same Bowl with slight Change Over Tooling. This unit finds applications on the nail coiling machines. An Elscint hopper feeder with Elscint linear feeder (Inline Rail Feeder) is available as an accessory for increasing the loading capacity. Additionally, Elscint can provide a chute with gears for feeding the nails and dispensing them through a gear for further usage on the nail coiling machine. This attachment makes the Elscint nail feeder very useful both for OEM manufacturers of nail coiling machines as well as end users who would like to make their nail coiling machine automatic.

Elscint manufactures a special vibratory bowl feeder for feeding of tablets for Blister Packaging Machines. A Stainless Steel Grade 316 plate type bowl and a special changeable Aluminum part having grooves which can fit in the Plate Type Bowl is manufactured for this purpose. This part is made to suit one particular type of Tablet. In case one wants to run multiple tablets on the same machine, only this part needs to be changed. These being easily interchangeable, they can be changed whenever the Tablets change. Sizes of the bowl plates can be made suitable to customer specifications. Elscint Automation can also sell only bowl plates and aluminum parts made suitable to suit your present vibratory feeders drive units. The aluminum parts are CNC Machined. Depending upon the size of the tablets and the number of outlets required, a suitable Elscint vibratory bowl feeder is selected.
